Univ. Prof. Dr. Martin Schillinger is a specialist in internal medicine, cardiology and angiology at Imad19. He completed his medical studies in only 9 semestres (with 3 semestres less than required), with praise at the Univerity of Vienna in 1993.
In 2002, Univ. Prof. Dr. Martin Schillinger followed in his continuing training the specialization course in angiology at Vienna University Hospital. This is followed automatically by an additional 3-year cardiology training at Wilhelminenspital in Vienna.
At the age of 27, Univ. Prof. Dr. Martin Schillinger has completed his angiology skills by winning the title of university professor. At the ageo of 30, he obtained the second ability in the field of internal medicine and received the title „Privatdozent” (PD).

Clinical and research specialization of Univ. Prof. Dr. Martin Schillinger is the diagnosis and treatment of circulatory disorders from the heart, brain and legs, as well as their risk factors (hypertension, diabetes, blood lipids). Of particular importance here is the minimally invasive treatment of these diseases. The combination of cardiology (heart) and angiology (vessels) guarantees a holistic diagnosis in cardiovascular disease therapy.
Univ. Prof. Dr. Martin Schillinger is the author and co-author of more than 200 original scientific papers, including numerous papers in respected international journals. In 2010, Professor Schillinger became one of the 50 best-known specialists in his field of activity.
Univ. Prof. Dr. Martin Schillinger is an international scientific researcher and member of the numerous editorial committees of international journals. In addition, Prof. Schillinger, works in the catheter technology and stent implantation field as a consultant for many American and European companies, helping to the development of the latest techniques. Univ. Prof. Dr. Martin Schillinger is an active researcher and member of numerous editorial boards of international journals. An extensive teaching and teaching activity with over 100 course classes.
